Person working for Maoists nabbed in Saraikela, anti-farmer’s law posters seized

Seraikela, Jan 28: Seraikela-Kharsawan police have managed to get a success as part of its anti-Maoist measures by nabbing CPI-Maoists active member Najir Munda  and recovered eight posters against the new Farm Laws, a banner ,  a mobile phone and a bike.

According to SP Seraikela-Kharsawan, Mohammed Arshi, acting on tip-off they got information about a Maoist members has brought in with Naxal literature to paste it in Adityapur  and Gamharia region and they formed a team led by SDPO Rakesh Ranjan to trap Niraj Munda a native of Gudri under Kuchai thana area.

Police started special checking drive near Chandni Chowk along the Kuchai-Kharsawan road  on Tuesday night and around 1.30 am they found a bike going from Dalbhanga and on suspicion stopped and started searching and recovered the literatures and fire-arms.

He confessed that he was a active member for more than two years and was taking the posters to be pasted in Adityapur and Gamharia . There are cases under Arms Act against the same accused at NImdih thana.

According to Seraikela-Kharsawan SP, Mohammed Arshi the accused used to take levy for Maoists and paste Naxal literatures in city areas to create fear among people.
