People coming in from other states to undergo corona test in Chaibasa

Chaibasa, July 13: West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Arwa Rajkamal has passed a stricture that persons coming in from other states to the district will have to undergo corona tests before leaving for home where they will have to remain in home quarantine for 14 days. This measure has been taken to contain the drastic growth of COVID-19 infection.

The deputy Commissioner has given the instructions to the Police Superintendent, DDC, SDO, all Sadar Hospitals in Chaibasa-Porahat and Chakradharpur-Jagannathpur, the Civil Surgeon, BDOs, Cos, Nagar Parshads and executive officers.

Deputy Commissioner Arwa Rajkamal has urged all people coming into West Singhbhum from other states to get themselves checked for corona infection at the nearest Community Health Centres. He has mentioned that those who did not follow the protocol would be liable for legal action under the various Sections of the Disaster management Act of 2005 and the Indian Penal Code. FIRs under those relevant sections will be filed against them.
