Jamshedpur, September 6: Pearl cultivation will be started in Jamshedpur Women’s University with the aim of giving information about its nuances to its students and through them to take this art to the farmers.
The proposal has got approval of Academic Council of the University.
According to the information received from the university, related courses will be started in the new campus. For this, a big tub will be made in the campus, in which snails will be reared. This course will be for Bio-tech girl students.
Under this course, both theoretical and practical information will be given to the girl students, so that later on they can make it a means of employment. Also, by giving this information to the people of the farming class as much as possible, they can help in increasing their income.
Neither its farming is laborious nor it is of high capital investment. Pearl farming or pearl farming is being seen as a very profitable business. People are earning lakhs of rupees from this.
