Gamharia: A meeting of the Gamharia police station peace committee was organized on Monday. The officer in-charge of Gamharia police station Mani Bhushan Prasad presided over the meeting.
The committee members unanimously decided to press into service all volunteers during Durga Puja to keep peace.
They said the local residents should cooperate with the police officials so that no one dares to create trouble. It was decided to deploy a large number of police personnel at all puja venues and public places.
