Peace committee meeting held at Kandra PS

Gamharia: A meeting of peace committee members was organized at Kandra police station on Thursday.

It was presided over by the officer in-charge of Kandra PS Inspector Raveesh Kumar Singh. The cop appealed to the peace committee members to assist police in keeping the law and order situation intact during Eid and rathyatra.

He said the peace committee members should immediately intimate police in case they come across suspicious people or activities in the area.

Among those present during the meeting included Zila Parishad member Sudhir Mahato, the Mukhiya of Kandra, Shankari Devi, deputy Mukhiya Anil Singh, Mukhiya of Burudih, Sokhen Hembram, Prakash Kumar Raju, Vidya Sagar Dubey and Lalbabu Mahato.
