Peace committee meeting at Kadma PS for peaceful Bakrid

Jamshedpur, June 23: In preparation for the upcoming festival of Bakrid, a significant meeting of the peace committee took place today at Kadma police station. The meeting witnessed the presence of peace committee members from the area, as well as esteemed representatives from both the Shastri Nagar and BH communities.

Station in-charge, Ashok Kumar Ram, took the opportunity to appeal to all individuals to celebrate Bakrid in a spirit of peace and harmony. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a peaceful environment during the festivities. Additionally, attendees were encouraged to promptly inform the police station about any specific concerns or issues they may encounter.

During the meeting, residents of Shastri Nagar and the BH area raised certain demands for the smooth celebration of Bakrid. They requested arrangements for uninterrupted water, electricity, and cleanliness services throughout the festival. In response, the station in-charge and ADC assured the community members that their concerns would be addressed. They pledged to ensure the provision of water and electricity services for the duration of the festival and promised to organize proper waste disposal facilities.

The attendees were reminded of the importance of promptly reporting any information or incidents to the police station. This collaboration between the community and law enforcement is vital in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents. Present at the meeting were notable individuals, including ADC Saurabh Kumar Sinha, station in-charge Ashok Kumar Ram, president of Ram Shanti Samiti Diwakar Singh Keshav Tiwari, Shashi Acharya, Reena Singh Meraj Khan, Akhtar Bhai Muqaddar Lalbabu, Javed Laxmi Narayan Tiwari Chaudhary, and others.
