Jamshedpur, May 13: Govind Vidyalaya Tamulia held a patriotic song competition on Saturday, May 13th which saw enthusiastic participation from students of classes VI to XII. The competition was divided into two groups, with Group A comprising students from classes six to eight, and Group B comprising students from classes nine to twelve.
The event was judged by two teachers, Subham Kumar and Poonam Kumari while Neeta Rani, Poonam Kumari, and co-in-charge Pushpanjali Srivastava and Mousumi Aditya were present as well. The school’s Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, and Activity Incharge Naushad Razia also graced the occasion with their presence.
The competition witnessed some outstanding performances from the participants, who put up a mesmerizing show with their patriotic songs. In Group A, Ayaan Ansari from Class 6A secured the first position in the solo category, followed by Arju Mahtab from the same class in the second position, and Afia Parveen from Class 8A in the third position.
In the group category, Ichha Paul, Ashika Tiwari, and Radhiya Sharma from Class 7A secured the first position, while Arju Mahtab, Nuzhat Parveen, and Munazza Maryam from Class 6A secured the second position.
In Group B, Adiba Mahtab from Class 11 Commerce secured the first position in the solo category, while in the group category, Aarohi Sinha, Sardana Vasla, and Kahkshan Muzaffar from Class 9A secured the first position, followed by Khushnuma Sabir from Class 9B and Kahkshan Kulsum from Class 9C in the second position. The winners of the competition were felicitated by the school authorities who appreciated their efforts and encouraged them to continue honing their skills. The event concluded on a high note, with the participants and the audience feeling proud of their country and its rich cultural heritage.
