Jamshedpur, Aug 9: Patna Women�s College Alumni Association today organized a Sawan Milan programme replete with music, dance and fun and frolic. The ladies sang Kajri, Jhumar and Sawn songs while sitting on swings to highlight the spirit of Sawan. Vidya Tiwary conducted a quiz on Sawan while Dr Bharati Singh organized games based on the festive month. Dr Nidhi Srivastav�s presentation of a Kajri in which a girl asks her beloved to bring Henna for her, won all round appreciation. Eva presented a captivating dance recital. Dr Chandra Pathak was the chief guest on the occasion.
Aparajita Shubhra was adjudged Sawan Queen. Vidya Tiwary was awarded a prize for the maximum attendance in the Alumni Association meetings.
The Sawan Milan programme was organized by Meena Pradhan, Renuka Mishra, Vidya Tiwary, Dr Nidhi Srivastav, Dr Juhi Samarpita, Aparajita Shubhra, Asha Sinha, Punam Mahto, Manju Singh, Devi Singh, Kanchan Singh, Rachna Ahuja, Dipali Dukania, Ruby Sinha and Shilpi Sinha.
