Parents of dowry death victim complain with Jamshedpur SSP

Jamshedpur, Feb 19: Though Kadma police lodged a case of dowry related murder in the case of death of 29-year-old Sushma Sao at Mithila Path in Kadma on January 28 this year, but the accused are yet to be arrested. 
The parents of the deceased girl have claimed that they are getting intimidation calls to lift the case or face dire consequences. 
In this case, the girl’s father Munilal Sao, a resident of Agrico wherein he has alleged that ever since marriage his daughter was harassed for dowry by in-laws. The in-laws were demanding Rs 10 lakh as dowry and after not getting dowry she was killed and her body hanged from ceiling. The father claimed that there were injury mark on neck and other parts of the body. 
The father lodged a complaint with the senior superintendent of police.
