Jamshedpur, June 2: Parents created chaos at Gulmohar High School in Telco over admission of their child in class 11 of the school. Affray turned out be violent as Telco Police officials had to play mediator to calm down the situation.
Against the incident parents Geeta Prasad and Kavita Lashkar filed a complaint against Principal of the school Sunita Sinha and Vice-Principal TS Prakash. The incident is reported to be off Monday at around 11 am when Geeta Prasad along with her son Ritesh Kumar and Kavita Lashkar with son Rishi Raj came to the school for admission of their child were Principal refused to meet both the ladies.
But after series of request Principal Sunita Sinha agreed to meet and after holding talks decided to talk about admission only after the summer vacation. After assurance from Principal, parents started creating disorder at the school and alleged principal of demanding Rs 40,000 as donation, blamed charges of indecent behavior against women parents for Vice �principal.
Soon after the incident Bhojpuri Navchetna Manch pitched for it and stared acting against the school management and demanded arrest of principal and vice-principal. Manch members started shouting slogans against the school management at the gate were Appu Tiwary, Ankit Anand along with several others were present.
Talking about the incident, Principal of the school, Sunita Sinha said the students have been behind several indiscipline issues, the same were accused of bursting fire crackers at the day of elocution in the school premises this is the reason their admission is pending.
The admission is closed because of the renovation work in the school and the parents have been told to meet after the vacations and after the same situation they started creating panic scene, added Sinha. Vice-Principal TS Prakash said the allegations against me are false and I can�t do this kind of activity ever.
