Jamshedpur: The famous fan of the Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s Pappu Sardar celebrated his idol’s birthday by spreading cheer among the inmates of the Cheshire Home.
The inmates of Old Age Home were also especially invited to be part of the celebration. Like every year, Pappu also spent the day among the inmates of the Cheshire Home, who are special invitees on this occasion. He distributed fruits and gifts to the inmates.
Like previous years this year too, he distributed �chaat�, ice creams and soft drinks free of cost to the people who will cross through his shop.
Pappu has been celebrating Dixit’s birthday since 1996. His dedication to the star has no limits. Earlier his neighbours used to consider him crazy, but now they eagerly wait for the annual event, and wholeheartedly join in the revelries.
Like thousands of others, Pappu Sardar idolises Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit. But he is a unique member of her fan club in that he has taken it upon himself to reach out to those in need while dedicating the service to her.
It may be mentioned that Pappu has been celebrating Madhuri’s birthday since mid-90s and shot into the limelight for his attraction towards the actress.
In 2008 he even got the opportunity to meet Madhuri. Moreover, his day begin with offering pujas for the actress. Such is his popularity that an Amercian student carried a research on his personality.
