Pakhi Sharma to recite ‘Mayra’ of Nani Bai in Rajasthani language

: The Rajasthani community of Jamshedpur will witness culture and tradition along with soulful presentation of Rajasthani music.

16-year-old girl Pakhi Sharma of the city will recite ‘Nani Bai Ro Mayro’ in Rajsthani language at Rishi Bhawan in Jugsalai from November 7.

Pakhi Sharma completed her vedic learning from Vrindavan while she did her schooling from Jamshedpur and is currently pursuing higher study from Graduate College in Sakchi.

Sri Narayani Seva Sangh is organising the musical recital of Mayro from November 7 to 9 from 3 pm to 6 pm. This is the first time that Mayro is being organised in Jugsalai.

Earlier, Pakhi Sharma has recited Mayro on invitation from Sri Rani Sati Seva Sangh at Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi in 2014.

For the event at Jugsalai, a team of 5 musician will be coming to city from Kolkata while for the flower decoration, artisans from Kharagpur will adorn the venue.

On the concluding day of the three-day Mayro festivity on November 9, married women will perform mangal path of Rani Sati of Shantidham in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, from 10 in the morning.

For the mangal path, Manishb Sharma and Priti Sinha along with their team would arrive from Kolkata.
