Jamshedpur: As part of the Tata Engage Initiative to commemorate the 175th Birth Anniversary of J N Tata, a series of employee volunteerism programme has been organised in last one month at Tata Motors.
Young GETs and Officers of Tata Motors today organised a painting competition for the students of Abhaya Adarsh Shiksha Kendra, Gwala Basti, Indranagar, Jamshedpur. Tata Motors Plant Head, A B Lall also joined the team and encouraged the children to showcase their creative talent.
The event had created a lot of excitement amongst them. The subject of the drawing was related to festive season like Holi, Diwali, and Christmas and so on. While some of the paintings brought prizes to the children, but there was something for all the participants.
Also present during the event was Dr. Jahar Banerjee, President, Abhaya Banerjee Foundation, the organisation that supports and manages the school.
