Pahalgam attack a brutal assault on Nation’s conscience: Kale

Jamshedpur: Strongly condemning the heinous attack on Hindu pilgrims in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale on Tuesday termed the incident a “targeted anti-Hindu religious massacre” and a “direct attack on the honor and self-respect of the nation.”
In a sharply worded statement, Kale said that the incident, which occurred on April 22, was not an isolated act of violence but a meticulously planned and hate-driven assault. According to reports, unidentified gunmen stopped tourist vehicles and opened fire on innocent pilgrims after identifying their religion, leaving several dead and many injured.
“This cowardly act has shaken the conscience of the country. While the nation is working towards peace and tourism in Kashmir, terror outfits are conspiring to destroy harmony and unity,” Kale said.
Calling the massacre a “targeted genocide,” Kale urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to take the strictest possible action. “These cannibals and their sympathizers should not be spared for a single moment,” he demanded.
Kale expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and paid tribute to the deceased, stating, “Their deaths are not just the grief of one family but of the entire nation.”
Reaffirming BJP’s stance on national security, Kale added, “India will not remain silent now. Every supporter of terrorism will face a befitting reply. Kashmir was, is, and will always remain an integral part of India. The sun of peace will rise there once again.”
