JVM appeals to DC to not relocate polling booths

Jamshedpur, Sept 12: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha general secretary Abhay Singh Wednesday met East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla and demanded that the district administration should not relocate the polling booths. He handed over a petition to the DC and demanded that the Central Vehicle Act 2019 should be revoked.

Singh said the district administration should reject the demand for shifting of various polling booths in the district raised by the BJP. He alleged that the BJP is trying to gain advantage through the shifting of polling booths.

The JVM leader also demanded that an all-party meeting should be convened to discuss issues pertaining to the shifting of polling booths ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections.

Other leaders present during today�s programme included Tarachandra Kalindi, Reena Choudhary, Shashi Mishra, Jata Shankar Pandey, Suryakant Jha, Love Singh and Anil Sharma.
