
Joda, Sept. 12:� As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Tata Steel organized a one-day free Mega Health Camp today at Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir, Bamebari under Jodablock of Keonjhar district.
Amit Kumar Dubey, Head, Manganese Group of Mines (Tata Steel) inaugurated the health camp in the presence ofMrRimlal Joshi, Senior Manager, BamebariManaganese Mines and officials of Tata Steel Rural Development Society.
509 patients from Bamebari and seven peripheral villages including Belda, Kundaposi, Jamuna Posi, Bhandari Diha, Jagannthpur, Unchabali, Hesabeda, Begunia Sahi, BDP Camp, etc availed health services at the day-long Mega Health Camp.
6 specialist doctors from Tata Steel Hospital, Joda and Tata Steel Rural Development Society volunteered their services for the camp. In the camp, apart from consultation by specialist doctors from Medicine, Skin, Pediatric, Gynecology, and Orthopedics disciplines, free medicines were provided to the patients. During the camp, apart on-the-spot pathological investigations for proper diagnosis, investigations were also carried out to detect pregnancy and malaria.
