Over 11,000 gets govt jobs in Jharkhand, several recruitment in process

Ranchi, July 7: Unemployment has always been the biggest issue in Jharkhand.

During elections, all political parties talk about giving jobs in lakhs, but as soon as they come to power, that promise gets lost somewhere. Most of the youth in the state are preparing for government jobs, but the appointment process is so slow that people’s age passes while preparing but appointments are not done.

This is the story of the present time as well. Talking about government jobs in the last 4 and a half years, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has given appointment to only 10,041 people so far. While more than 44 thousand appointments are in process.

At the same time, 1033 people have got appointment under JPSC. While the process is going on for more than 16,000   posts.

In four and a half years, a total of 11,074 people have got government jobs and jobs are in process for more than 59,000. Many of these have been examined, while the examination of many departments still pending.

The biggest exam of these, JSSC CGL, is still pending. Candidates have agitated many times regarding this. Its examination was conducted in various districts of the state in January, but it also had to be canceled due to paper leak.

It is about to be 24 years since the formation of Jharkhand. But till date, no government has been able to make a proper appointment rule. Even if it was made, the court declared it illegal. The appointment rule of Hemant Soren’s coalition government was also canceled by the Jharkhand High Court on 16 December 2022. Due to which all the vacancies in process had to be canceled.

At the same time, the 60:40 planning policy of the Raghuvar Das government was also canceled by the court.
