Jamshedpur: The 15th National Voters’ Day was marked with a district-level ceremony at Michael John Auditorium, Bistupur, organized to recognize and honor the exemplary contributions of personnel in the electoral process.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal, Project Director ITDA Deepankar Choudhary, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Law and Order Aniket Sachan, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dhalbhum Shatabdi Majumdar, District Transport Officer (DTO) Dhananjay, SDM Ghatshila Sunil Chandra, Deputy Election Officer Priyanka Singh, District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) Panchanan Oraon, and Assistant Director of Social Security Neha Sanjana Khalkho.
During the ceremony, commendation certificates were awarded to personnel from various electoral cells for their outstanding work during the assembly elections. A total of 62 Booth Level Officers (BLOs), 187 personnel from different electoral wings, as well as representatives of Divyangjan and the transgender community, were honored for their dedicated service.
Highlighting the importance of youth participation, five newly registered voters were presented with EPIC voter ID cards at the event.
SSP Kishore Kaushal administered the voter’s pledge to all officials and staff present in the auditorium, emphasizing the commitment to upholding democratic values. In their addresses, the SSP, Project Director ITDA, ADM Law and Order, SDM Dhalbhum, and other dignitaries commended the awardees for their exceptional efforts and encouraged them to continue their dedication in future electoral endeavors.
