Ghatshila, Sept 20: An orientation programme for the academic year 2023-’24 was organized on Wednesday at Sona Devi University in Ghatshila where new students were welcomed. The chief guest on the occasion was the Jharkhand representative of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Dharmendra Kumar Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharmendra Kumar Singh highlighted the significance of Ghatshila Subdivision having a university like Sona Devi that had proved itself by filling a gap in the region for a quality university. “I am more than sure and confident that Sona Devi University will fulfil its role as an answer to the region’s quest for a university providing qualitative education,” asserted chief guest, Dharmendra Kumar Singh.
Founder-Chairman of the University, Prabhakar Singh, assured students and parents that Sona Devi University would impart high-quality education. He encouraged students to have complete confidence that the university would offer top-of-the-line education.
Vice Chancellor of Sona Devi University, Dr JP Mishra emphasized on various aspects related to the university. The University’s Registrar, Dr Gulab Singh offered the vote of thanks.
A large number of students, parents and members of the university’s various departments were present at the orientation programme. It was announced that regular classes would commence from September 26th.
