Jamshedpur, Nov 9: Surya Mandir Committee trustee and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das stated that on the face of the coronavirus pandemic, organizers will make all arrangements for Chhat devotees to enable them to offer their prayers. He said that in keeping with preventive protocols it will be ensured that devotees were masks and observe social distancing. He said that to make it more convenient for devotees, on Monday, November 16 coupons for provision of prayer materials will be issued. Coupons will also be issued to devotees observing Chhat fast on November 17 and 18 to 400 persons and families to perform Chhat rituals in the pond specally made for the purpose in the Surya Temple complex. On November 19, fruits for prayers will be distributed to devotees.
Those present in the meeting included Surya Mandir Committee president Sanjiv Singh, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Akhilesh Singh Yadav, Kulwant Singh Bunty, Rambabu Tiwary, Kamlesh Singh, Kalyani Sharan, Gunjan Yadav, Bhupendra Singh, Babua Singh, Rakesh Singh, Mantu Banerjee, Munna Agrawal, Dipak Jha, Santosh Thakur and Dhruv Mishra.
