Ranchi, August 10: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren turned 47 on Wednesday.
On his birthday, he took blessings by touching the feet of his father Rajya Sabha MP and JMM supremo Shibu Soren and mother Rupi Soren. At the same time, Guruji told Hemant Soren to constantly strive for the development of the state.
Shibu Soren said that the son of Jharkhand will always work for the rights of the poor, exploited, deprived tribals and natives of the state.

Hemant Soren also said that he sought blessing from his parents to serve the people in a better manner and said that it was a happy coincidence that his birthday coincided with the formation of a new government in neighbouring Bihar under Nitish Kumar with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.
Hemant Soren congratulated the new Bihar government and took a dig at BJP whom he has alleged to disturb his own government in Jharkhand by saying, “People have seen how those in power are trying to topple and form government in the states and it is time for the masses to exercise political maturity during elections.”
Significantly, Hemant Soren, born in Nemra of Ramgarh district, has become the Chief Minister of Jharkhand for the second time. First he became the Chief Minister of the state from July 2013 to December 2014. Then in December 29, 2019, he took charge of the state as the fifth Chief Minister of the state.
