Jamshedpur: As part of its ongoing drive to curb the sale of illegal narcotics and crack down on those involved in the drug trade, Jamshedpur police conducted a weekly review of “Operation Prahar” on Saturday.
The review meeting was chaired by the Senior Superintendent of Police at the office conference hall, in the presence of the Superintendent of Police (City). The meeting was attended by all urban Deputy Superintendents of Police, Police Inspectors, and Station House Officers. During the review, detailed discussions were held on effective action against illegal drug peddlers, operations conducted against illegal arms smuggling, and the disposal of pending cases.
Special emphasis was laid on the three key aspects of enforcement—raids, arrests, and recoveries. The Senior Superintendent of Police issued necessary directions to ensure more effective and result-oriented action against offenders, stressing strict monitoring and intensified enforcement to curb narcotics trafficking and related criminal activities in the city.
