OPD must work 24X7 in Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner

Jamshedpur, Aug 17: In a meeting with the private nursing home operator’s hospital management, the Deputy Commissioner gave strict instructions that any hospital which has dialysis facilities should continue to work. Ensure that OPD 24’7 is on so that MGM, TMH and Sadar Hospital are not under unnecessary pressure. The Deputy Commissioner said that any hospital where doctors or health workers are getting corona infected does not need to close the entire hospital but only close the ward where the corona infection has been identified and treat the hospital by providing sanitation as per the fixed guidelines. They must operate regularly otherwise strict action will be taken in DM Act and other relevant sections. The Deputy Commissioner said that wards should be prepared for suspected patients in all hospitals, treatment cannot be ruled out only on the basis of doubt. The deputy commissioner directed all the hospital management from the home operator to keep 15 percent resources for Covid-19 and 85 percent resources for common patients.�
