Jamshedpur, June 13: Following Union government directive Jharkhand health government will start onsite or walk-in registration for people (both individuals and groups of individuals) belonging to facilitated cohorts such as people who do not have access to internet or smartphones. The health department will also provide assisted registration through the common service centres (pragya kendras) and through 1075 (helpline/call centre).
There will also be a special session for facilitating vaccination of people who do not have any of the specified identity cards (Aadhar cards/passport). A letter in this connection has been sent by the mission director National Health Mission, Jharkhand Ravishankar Shukla to all the civil surgeons in the 24 districts.
The state on Saturday did not witness a single death due to Covid, the first time since April, pegging the cumulative casualty to 5082. The state added 239 positive cases taking the active case load to 3966. The recovery rate of the state reached 97.36 per cent while the mortality rate stood at 1.48 per cent.
