Jamshedpur: A legal awareness camp was organized in South Haludbani panchayat of Jamshedpur under Nyaya Apke Dwar programme under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) on Sunday. The chief guest of the occasion was Civil Judge Sushila Soreng. She was accompanied by Judicial Magistrate First Class Angelina John.
Addressing the gathering, Soreng said the Central and state governments were running several schemes for the welfare of the people, but due to ignorance, poor and downtrodden people are deprived of their benefits.
Soreng said only awareness could free a person from poverty.
Among others present during the programme included Sunil Pandey, Shankar Gorai, Prakash Gorai, Lakhi Gorai and Manoj Kumar Mahato.
