One youth dies, another injured while performing bike stunt in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 14: In a motorcycle accident near the Marine Drive Ramjanamnagar Toll Bridge under Kadma police station, two youths sustained severe injuries while performing bike stunts on Friday morning. Rushed to MGM Hospital by locals, 21-year-old Nitesh Seat from Haldipokhar Damudih succumbed to his injuries during treatment, while his friend Vibhishan Sardar suffered a broken right leg.

Both Nitesh and Vibhishan were employed at a tiles factory in Surat, Gujarat, and had arrived in the city by train on Thursday night. Opting to spend the night at the station due to the late hour, they made their way home to Adityapur Sridungri at 4 am after resting. Their intended route included a stop to visit a relative in Kadma before heading back to Haldipokhar.

The tragedy struck near Tata Steel Yard as their bike skidded after crossing the toll bridge, resulting in the grievous injuries. A passerby quickly intervened, rushing them to the hospital and informing their family members about the incident. Nitesh’s family, in particular, mourned his demise, as he was the sole son in the family.
