Jamshedpur : In a road mishap one person was killed on the spot and another injured as the bike they were riding was hit by a van near Rukmini Temple on Tata-Jadugora Road under Potka police station area, on Tuesday morning. The mishap victim was identified as Ramchandra Kaibarto (26), a resident of Potka.
The injured Biren Kaibarto, who is the deceased’s younger brother, as rushed to MGM Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Biren (22) has sustained multiple injuries in his right hand and also in the shoulder. Revealing about the mishap, Biren said they were coming to Tata Steel Works where they worked under a construction firm and met the mishap on their way to Jamshedpur.
Officials of Potka police station said confirmed about the fatal road mishap on Tata-Jadugora Road early this monring, but said that they could know about it after the mishap victims were taken away to Jamshedpur for treatment.
The police officer said the four-wheeler that caused the mishap fled the scene with the vehicle and the police have no idea exactly which vehicle was responsible for the mishap.
