Gamharia, March 10: One person was killed and 18 others were injured after a Jeep turned between Pitudih and Jankipur Village at the border of Kandra and Seraikela Police Station on Monday, March 10.
An old man was killed on the spot while 18 others men and women were injured. Soon Seraikela and Kandra Police reached the spot and send all the injured to Sadar Hospital in Seraikela. The deceased Ranga Mahato�s body was sent to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur for postmortem.
According to reports, all the passengers on the Jeep were going to Bank of India branch to withdraw pension in Upardugni Village from Hathnada Village at around 1 in the afternoon and on the way Jeep turned leaving one dead and 18 other injured.
Kandra Police Station incharge Shiv Prakash Kumar and Seraikela Police Station incharge, Sadalbal reached the spot and with the help of locals moved the injured to hospital.
