Jamshedpur, Jan 23: A truck driver was injured in a road accident when his vehicle rammed into another truck on the National Highway 33 near Belajuri Kali Mandir under MGM police station area late yesterday night. The incident occurred around 2 am. The victim was caught in the driver’s cabin as his vehicle was mangled in the incident. He could not come out of the cabin on his own. His truck was carrying red soil. Local villagers rushed to the scene and informed police about the incident. The driver of the other truck was also caught in his cabin. Both were taken to MGM Hospital where their condition was reportedly out of danger, sources said.
