One department will become paperless before October 2: CM

Ranchi, Aug 1: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said that transparent and accountable administration is his priorities.

He said that IT plays an important role in minimizing distance between people and government. At least one department will become paperless before October 2 followed by others. The CM said it while inaugurating Jharkhand State Data Center.

Das said that Data Center will benefit Jharkhand very much. Jharkhand is playing its role effectively in the building of Digital India. Start up Jharkhand on the line of start-up India has been initiated.

The youths of Jharkhand will be able to develop their own software and start business. The government will help them. We are committed to develop the state as IT hub with the help of Infosys.

He said that all necessary works are being done to help Jharkhand excel in every relevant field. IT secretary Sunil Kr. Barnwal briefed about the data center.

Principal secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar, principal secretary, RDD N. N. Sinha, secretary, Building Construction Department K. K. Son and other people were present on this occasion.
