Gamharia: One person was seriously injured in the collision of two trucks near Kandra toll bridge on Monday. He was identified as Sameer Goswami, one of the truck drivers. He was rescued by police with the help of local residents. He was taken to MGM Hospital where his condition was reportedly critical. The other driver managed to flee the scene, sources said.
Police said the incident occurred around 11.30 am. One of the trucks was carrying stone chips. The other truck rammed into it at high speed, leading it to overturn. Both vehicles were mangled in the incident. They were confiscated by the police.
