One caught from Jamshedpur for cheating youths with false railway job promise

Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Sonari police on Wednesday morning arrested resident of Vastu Vihar in Adityapur, Kumardeep Gupta from his house for cheating lakhs of rupees from several persons on the pretext of providing them job in railways. 
A case had been lodged against him by Sankosai Road, Mango resident Umesh Chandra Mahato on the direction of the Jamshedpur Court. 
The Sonari police had lodged a case on the directive of the Court and started a probe into it. The accused had not only made Umesh Chandra Mahato but also his friend Surjit Sarkar as a victim and the transaction of money was done in Anil Sur Path D Road in Kadma.

Surjit Sarkar was caught in the trap of Kumardeep Gupta in 2016 and continued to be cheated. The complainant has stated that during the time of cheating he was staying in Road Number 15 in Azadnagar and that the accused to make them travel for one orr the other reasons between Kolkata and Durgapur on the pretext of providing them railways jobs in months and had promised to land them in job within six months but it has been over three years and they are still awaiting any job. 
Surjit Sarkar further states in the complaint that when they realised that their hard earned money will not be returned by the fraudstter they had no option but to approach police in Sonari and when police failed to take any action they had to approach for legal redressal in the Jamshedpur civil court.
