Jamshedpur, May 30: Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of one Bappi Dey and arrested him with .315 bore country-made pistol and a .315 live bullet recovered from under an almirah, which he had hidden.
A police team led by Satyendra Kumar Singh, in-charge, Golmuri police station, Rajun Ram and reserve guard arrested the 39-year-old Dey from his house situated at Safali Road in Cable Town under Golmuri police station area on Monday at 12.30 p.m.
According to SSP Anoop T Mathew, Bappi works as a contractor in Tata Steel.
