On I-Day, Jusco appeals for plastic free Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 16: On the premises of Jusco, Ashish Mathur, MD Jusco hoisted the National Flag and addressed the audience on Saturday, August 15.

The children from Oriya Middle School, Adityapur (Govt. school) which Jusco is supporting on PPP Model conducted a cultural program after the award ceremony of the Security personnel of the company. This program was attended by all officials of the company.

On the occasion of the 69th Independence Day young ambassadors of 16 Ram Krishna Mission schools across the City of Jamshedpur marched with banners reiterating the ideology of Zimmedaar Nagrik Zimmedaar Shaher to generate mass awareness and create a sense of pride and ownership towards the city leading to improved municipal services and preservation of key resources.�

Along with Jusco, non profitable organisations like Rotary Club of Steel City, Young India Jharkhand Chapter of CII (with one of their main themes of work being Swacch Bharat Abhiyan ) and Lions Club joined hands in this mass movement of alertness to help make Jamshedpur clean and quit using plastic bags for the same.�

The students of all the 16 schools were the envoys of this crusade. �
