Jamshedpur, Sept 2: Social worker and journalist Tanveer Ahsan submitted a memorandum to Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy regarding the poor condition of Mango Old Purulia Road, stretching from Yeshu Bhawan to Chepa Pul.
Ahsan detailed how potholes and broken asphalt had created daily hazards for children, elderly, and patients. He emphasized that the monsoon had worsened the condition, making travel difficult for residents.
Taking note of the issue, MLA Roy assured that road repair and construction cannot be undertaken during the rains, but work will commence immediately after the monsoon. He confirmed that Ahsan’s memorandum had been forwarded to the Mango Municipal Corporation for departmental action.
Roy stressed that all dilapidated roads in the locality would be repaired promptly once weather permitted, ensuring smoother connectivity and relief for residents.
