Officials inspect Anganwadi Centres, PDS shops, and schools, focus on better implementation of the schemes

Jamshedpur: Nodal officers conducted extensive inspections across 11 blocks in Jamshedpur to ensure the effective implementation of government schemes at the grassroots level. The inspections were carried out as part of the weekly review of public services and development projects in rural and panchayat areas. During the inspection, nodal officers visited Anganwadi Centres, Panchayat Bhawans, Public Distribution System (PDS) shops, Health Sub Centres, MNREGA schemes, and schools. The visits aimed to evaluate the status of public welfare schemes and infrastructure while addressing challenges faced by local communities. The officers emphasized the importance of better implementation of government initiatives in rural areas to maximize benefits for local residents. They also directed block officers to ensure effective delivery of health, education, employment, and nutrition schemes in their respective jurisdictions.

Prominent district officials were actively involved in the inspection process. Project Director ITDA  Dipankar Chaudhary inspected Badakhurshi in Ghatshila block, while Sub-Divisional Officer Dhalbhum  Shatabdi Majumdar visited Beldih in Bodam block. Sub-Divisional Officer Ghatshila reviewed the status at Malkundi in Chakulia, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhagirath Prasad conducted inspections at Kasmar in Patamda block. Executive Officer Aman Kumar visited Balijudi in Gudabanda, and the Special Division Officer assessed public services at Maudsholi in Dhalbhumgarh. DCLR Ghatshila inspected Chingra in Baharagora, and District Supply Officer Salman Zafar Khijri evaluated the status at Khairbani in Dumariya. District Transport Officer visited Khakdipada in Jamshedpur, Executive Officer Sudipt Raj reviewed facilities at Dakshin Badiya in Musabani, and Executive Magistrate Chandrajit Singh inspected Manpur Panchayat in Potka, including Jugsalai Municipal Council, Mango, and Jugsalai Municipal Corporation areas.

The District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of on-ground presence by government officers to ensure that public welfare schemes effectively reach the villages and panchayats. He reiterated the need for close monitoring and proactive engagement to enhance public services at the grassroots level. He stated that the primary objective of these inspections is to ensure that the schemes related to health, education, employment, and nutrition are effectively reaching the people in rural areas. The focus is on delivering better services through lower-level units and addressing the basic issues faced by the community.

Apart from rural areas, nodal officers also inspected various government institutions within the municipal bodies of Jugsalai and Mango. The review aimed to assess the status of development schemes in urban sectors, ensuring that public services are adequately delivered to city residents. The inspection team evaluated the overall infrastructure, operational efficiency, and beneficiary feedback at Anganwadi Centres, PDS shops, Health Sub Centres, and schools. They also reviewed the progress of MNREGA schemes, emphasizing timely completion and quality standards.
