Jamshedpur: Several officials were deputed at the Composite Control Room (CCR) on the premises of Sakchi police station on Wednesday in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They will work round the clock and take care of exigency situations, Model Code of Conduct, law and order and other issues, sources said.
Sources said the CCR would work round the clock and would function in coordination with all the police stations across the district. A toll free number 18003456467 has been issued for the public for poll related queries as per the Compendium of Instructions On Election Expenditure Monitoring. The CCR officials have been asked to take prompt action on complaints made either through the toll free number and cVIGIL app, sources said.
