Jamshedpur, Nov 13: Odisha Governor Raghubar Das celebrated Diwali, with his family at his Agrico residence. The entire family worshipped Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesh and Lord Kuber seeking their blessings of peace, prosperity and progress for people of Jharkhand, Odisha and the other states of the country.
Following the prayers, Odisha Governor Raghubar Das and his family set about decorating their residence with oil lamps. Attractive fireworks were displayed in front of the house. “May the glow of million lamps brighten the hearths and homes not only of the affluent segment but also of the poor, marginalized, and neglected sections of society throughout the country. I have prayed for the realization of every Indian’s dream, that of the country becoming a global guru.”
Well-wishers gathered at his residence to convey their greetings, with the celebration continuing late into the night. Governor Raghubar Das and his family participated in the fireworks, making the atmosphere joyous for all those who joined the celebration
