Jamshedpur: The SSP of East Singhbhum Amol Venukant Homkar has removed the officer in-charge of Azadnagar police station Dilip Kumar Yadav.
Kundan Ram took charge of Azadnagar police station as the new officer in-charge.
Sources said Yadav was removed after the arresting of Shish Mahmood, suspected member of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, from Azad Busti area a couple of days back.
Mahmood had been living in the locality for the last nine years. He was arrested by a team of Anti Terrorism Squad of West Bengal in a theft case lodged in Burdwan.
