Jamshedpur, May 28: Contract workers of Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd. (formerly Lafarge) will see a rise of Rs 25 to 28 in their daily pay as additional allowance. The agreement will valid from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021.
The agreement was signed between the management of Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd. (formerly Lafarge), Lafarge employees union and Lafarge Theka Majdoor Sangharsh Samiti at a Sakchi hotel on Monday morning.
According the agreement, all the contract workers will get the arrear of five months with the salary of June month.
From the management end the agreement was signed by HR head Vinay Dubey, IR head Rahul Chatterjee, SD Singh and Anil Goswami.
From union side president Rakeshwar Pandey, vice president Vinay Trivedi along with contract workers representatives Ambuj Thakur, Nigmanand Pal, Baiju Dixit, Anil Mahato, Ganga Bahadur, Krishna Kamat, Satyendra Singh. From associate company Prakash Khemani, Zenith Ike, Mohammed Faiz and G Mandol and Co’s Ganesh Mandal singed on the agreement.
For the unskilled workers whose basic pay is Rs 287.30 will get additional allowance of Rs 25 and their daily pay will increase to Rs 312.30.
The semi-skilled workers who receive basic salary of Rs 300.78 will get additional allowance of Rs 27 to increase their daily pay to Rs 327.78.
The skilled workers whose basic salary is Rs 399.04 will get additional allowance of Rs 28 which will increase their salary to Rs 427.04.
The highly skilled worker will now get a daily pay of Rs 484.86 with an increase of Rs 28 additional allowance.
