Jamshedpur, August 29: East Singhbhum district information and public relation department launched awareness campaign against dengue in the most sensitive areas of the city.
Residents of Bhuiyadih Kalyan Nagar, Shastri Nagar Kadma, Birsanagar and others areas were informed about measures to avoid the disease, caution, symptoms and treatment through nukkad natak (street play).
They told the residents not to allow mosquitoes to flourish, avoid water logging, wear full sleeves clothes etc.
The people of the area were also informed about the Mukhya Mantri gambhir Rog Upchar sahayta yojana along with health help line number 104.
At the event Md. Neyaz, Chavi Das, Khurshid Alam, Kumud Das, Bablu Raj, Rupesh Kumar, Priyanka banerjee, Neetu kumari and others from Art Foundation, Celluloid chapter and Kala Mandir provided full support.
