Jamshedpur, May 9: Nishant Kumar Sinha, a student of NTTF, was severely injured when he was attacked by a bull near Kerala Public School under Burmamines police station. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon as Nishant was walking with his friends.
Nishant, a resident of Jugsalai, suffered a serious thigh injury in the attack and was rushed to Tata Main Hospital for medical treatment. Witnesses reported that the bull, which had previously attacked and injured several persons in the area, suddenly charged at Nishant as he was passing by.
Despite efforts by nearby people to chase away the bull, Nishant sustained severe injuries before receiving assistance. His friends promptly informed his family and took him to TMH for urgent medical attention.
Locals stated that previous incidents involving the same bull had been reported, prompting a complaint to Burmamines police station. However, no action has been taken thus far in the matter.
