Jamshedpur: The National Service Scheme unit of Jamshedpur Cooperative College celebrated NSS Day on Tuesday. The chief guest of the programme was Dr Sunit Kumar, programme coordinator of the college.
He spoke on the importance of NSS and the role of youths in shaping the future of society. He said the students should work for the society. He said the students could get an opportunity to know more about the society and do something for it.
Many students and teachers were present during the programme. The former registrar of Kolhan University Dr SS Razi was also present during the event. He too, encouraged and motivated the students to join NSS and work for the society.
M.Com student Vibhuti Bhushan Jha was given the best Swayamsevak award.
