Jamshedpur, Sept 18: A one day workshop for SC and ST entrepreneurs was organized at a Sakchi hotel under the aegis of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) on Wednesday.
Addressing the participants during the inaugural session, senior branch manager of NSIC, Jamshedpur branch, Shailendra Kumar said the main purpose of the workshop was to apprise all SC and ST entrepreneurs about the various loan schemes being run by the government and also inform them about the objectives of NSIC. He said the NSIC helped SC and ST entrepreneurs at every stage of their business. The SC and ST entrepreneurs should get themselves registered at a cost of Rs 100, he said.
Those present during the event included Doman Tudu, Navneet Kumar, Vinay Minj, Rajkuma Das, Pintu Kumar, Johnny Kuma, Subhash Kumar Vishwas, Guru Dutt Prasad and Ravi Shankar Kumar.
