Notice to Jamshedpur schools for absenting from meeting 

Jamshedpur, June 11 : East Singhbhum DEO Nirmala Kumari Barelia has issued a show cause notice to 36  schools which did not attend the review meeting called by the District Education Officer (DEO) office.

In the notice issued by the DEO office, all the schools have been asked to give their reply within 24 hours.

DEO Nirmala Kumari Barelia said that action will be taken against these schools after getting the reply. It may be noted that on June 6, a review meeting was held with the representatives of these schools by the DEO office. In this, along with the evaluation of board exam results, information was taken from the schools on many common points. On behalf of the department, all the schools granted establishment permission were asked to participate in this meeting.

  Even after this, 36 schools did not attend the meeting. Considering this as a violation of the departmental order, a show cause notice has been issued. This meeting was called on the orders of the Directorate of Secondary Education, in which the matriculation examination results of the schools are to be evaluated and its report is to be sent to the Directorate. Due to non-participation of more than half of the schools in the meeting, the report could not be prepared.
