Jamshedpur: Physically challenged persons should be nominated on at least one post of councilor in the municipal corporations, municipalities and Nagar Panchayats. This was demanded on Tuesday by Arun Kumar Singh, member of the state advisory board, Women and Child Development, Society Security Department.
Singh, in a meeting with the State Disability Commissioner Satish Chandra, Singh said the state government should take speedy measures to ensure welfare of all physically challenged people of Jharkhand.
