Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today said no one had any right or prerogative to violate the law of the land.
He said the ways of showing protest could differ, but in a democracy peaceful protest should be the only way to protest.
He said the district administration could take stringent measures to keep peace.
Terming the clash between JMM and BJP activists during the arrival of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, he said the activists of all parties should maintain patience and peace and should not violate any law.
He said all parties should contribute to maintain peace and order in the state.
