Noamundi, April 17: The students of Noamundi Tata DAV Public School won 9 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals in the fifth SOF International Olympiad examination and Jharkhand state Karate Championship.
The principal T K Mishra awarded the students for their excellent performance were Gold Medal winner Abhisek Mohanty, Swarna Sekhar, Alan Thomas , Ahasan Kamal, Alex Thomas, Aritro Sinha, Amrin Naj and Kumbu Hembram were awarded. Silver Medal winners Soumik Banerjee, Ashatha Sai, Ankita Patnayak and Abhisek Chourasiya along with Bronze Medallists Ayush Giri, Samiskha Singh, Jyoti Prasad Mohanty and Shivam Kumar were also felicitated.
Addressing the students, Principal said, hard work never goes in vain. The talent is hidden in every children and it requires proper nourishment to unfold. On the occasion a large number of teachers and students were present.
