Noamundi, Jan. 12: Annual Function cum Youth Day Celebration of Noamundi College was organised on Tuesday.
The former Chief Minister Madhu Koda was chief guest while Vice- Chancellor, Kolhan University, RPP Singh was the guest of honour for the occasion.
The function commenced with offering of floral tribute to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Addressing the gathering , V C said that Noamundi college fulfils all the criteria as required and I will always cooperate in development of the institution.
Madhu Koda said that the college is imparting quality education in the remote part of west Singhbhum District catering to a large number of students.
I wish that Smart Class should also be introduced in the college to make the students smart in all respects. The students also presented a colourful mesmerising cultural program.
The students were also given away prizes to those who took part in various competitions.
The present among others were Secretary Pandu Soren , principal Monojit Biswas , Noamundi BDO Amren Dang, the principal commerce college D P Jatt, Welfare officer Rabindra Singh Dev including a large number of Parents and students.
