No talks with Nitish Kumar: Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren

Ranchi, June 5: Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren reached Delhi on Wednesday to attend the INDIA bloc meeting.

He said that the election has been completed and the mandate has come.

“There is a meeting of INDIA bloc. I have come to attend it. We will move forward after discussion in the meeting,”said Soren.

On the question of claiming to form the government, Champai said that everything will be decided only after discussion in the meeting.

On the question of contact with Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister said that we have not had any conversation with him. If any ally has talked, then I am not aware of it.

Champai Soren said that in politics, meetings keep happening with all the parties and no one is untouchable.

It is worth noting that due to the Bharatiya Janata Party not getting a clear majority to form the government in the 18th Lok Sabha, NDA constituents TDP and JDU have come into the role of kingmakers.

Now to form the government at the Center, BJP has become dependent on Chandrababu Naidu of TDP and Nitish Kumar of JDU.

Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar also attended the NDA meeting in Delhi today. After the results, speculations started that efforts could be made to bring both the leaders to the INDIA camp, but both the parties have clarified that they are with the NDA. Together they will form the government at the Center.
